To install

1. Open Musick-1.0.0.dmg and drag Müsick to Applications.
2. Open it from Applications. macOS asks once whether to open an app that came from the internet; it's signed and notarized, so that's all it asks.
3. Müsick offers to import your Music app library first. It takes a minute or so, and on the same disk it uses almost no extra space.

Müsick keeps itself up to date: it checks for new versions and asks before installing one. For your iPhone, see the iPhone app.

The first release of Müsick for Mac.

• Import your Music app library, any folder or disk, or the Müsick folder in iCloud Drive. On the same disk, each song is an APFS clone, so the copy takes almost no space.
• Browse artists, albums, songs and genres, with every version of a song told apart by album, year, format and bitrate.
• Clean up artist and album names spelled more than one way, albums split in two, duplicate songs and missing art. Every fix is saved as a rule for future imports, and your original files are never changed.
• Play gaplessly, with a ten-band spectrum analyzer and an oscilloscope in the large Now Playing (⌘⇧N).
• Party mode lets guests queue songs without touching yours.
• Sync your iPhone: pair once with a four-digit code, choose a manifest of what the phone should hold, and press Sync. Songs that are only on the phone come to the Mac first if you want them.
• Updates arrive by themselves from now on; Müsick asks before installing one.
